The founders of Ammique® were originally based just outside Bath, where they ran a bespoke furniture design and manufacturing company. The search for a new mattress led them to question why the process of manufacturing mattresses had changed so little since the 19th Century, why indeed we all accept that a mattress has a short lifespan and we so willingly replace regularly creating landfill.
After conducting comprehensive research into the design of traditional beds and mattresses they began the process of creating an option that would offer a long term effective and supportive sleep system.
